What attracted you to a career in wealth management?
After completing my master’s degree at Stockholm University it wasn’t obvious to me what to do with it. I taught evening classes at the university whilst working in a branch office for Handelsbanken. At the bank I took pleasure in helping clients with their financial affairs and realised the need for trusted advisors and the difference it makes to people’s financial wellbeing. This led me into the world of investments, where I have remained ever since in various roles, firms and countries. Always aiming to deserve the trust of my clients safeguarding and enhancing their wealth.
What would you like to achieve for clients?
I want my clients to feel trust. That their assets are in safe hands, managed in a way that is suitable to them. That I will always look out for them and have their best interest in mind. That I am here for them whenever they need me. That I have the highest standard of resources at my disposal such as investment research, dealing facilities and systems. I want my clients to be able to live their lives without having to worry about their financial wellbeing and I want to make their investment journey seamless and transparent.
What are your interests outside of work?
Outside of work I like to enjoy life as much as I can. I love everything London has to offer such as theatre, stand up comedy, concerts, restaurants and pubs. I’m passionate about sports. I particularly follow football as a season ticket holder at Chelsea, and the Swedish ice hockey league. I love to travel. The US is one of my favourite destinations and I have travelled a lot in Asia and Europe. I also love spending time at my lake house in Sweden and enjoy reading a good book when I get a spare moment.
