Harriet Meade

Investment Administrator
London

What attracted me to a career in wealth management?

My journey into wealth management began in 2023 when I joined Quilter Cheviot as an investment administrator within the Managed Portfolio Service (MPS) team. My motivation was driven by a year of experience in financial services with an MPS platform provider and the achievement of a first-class honours degree from the University of Liverpool in 2022. I was drawn to the field by the opportunity to support MPS Investment Managers and contribute to the efficient management of client portfolios.

How do you approach your role on a daily basis?

In my current role, I primarily focus on the reporting of performance data, and the documentation and updating of MPS literature to provide our clients with accurate and up-to-date information, which helps them make informed investment decisions. Since joining Quilter Cheviot, I have completed the CISI Investment Advice Diploma (IAD) and am now working towards the CISI Chartered Wealth Manager qualification.

What are your interests outside of work?

Beyond my professional interests, I enjoy cooking, going to the theatre, horse racing and walks in the countryside with my new puppy Nelly.

The value of your investments and the income from them can fall and you may not recover what you invested.
