Angharad Lewis
Business Development Coordinator
London
What attracted you to a career in wealth management?
I graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a 2:1 in Business Management and started my career at Forbes and Lomax, developing the company both domestically and internationally for 7 years. Starting my career in sales I moved into business development and finally into accounts. I then moved on to work at Ennismore Fund Management and Ardian Private Equity, I wanted to transition into wealth management so I could apply my skills and build specialist propositions.
I was nominated for the ‘Unsung Hero’ award in the Women in Investments Awards 2023. I sit on the Inclusion and Diversity forum within Quilter Cheviot, co-heading the ‘New to Industry’ network. I am also head of the ‘Young Professionals Network’, arranging external networking events for those within the legal, accounting and financial industries.
How do you work with / look after clients?
I joined Quilter Cheviot in February 2022 as Business Development Coordinator to facilitate and co-create specialist services with legal and accounting professionals. Building these relationships on trust and specialist knowledge is integral when clients are going through major life events.
I’ve built, maintain and manage our CRM system and intranet site, along with organising regional training programmes and propositions. I support our London and regional colleagues in choosing their specialisations and guiding them with their alignments so they can provide high quality, holistic wealth advice to legal and accountancy professionals.
What are your interests outside of work?
I enjoy going to the gym and getting outside as often as possible with either friends or family. I can usually be found reading a good book, going to the theatre or exploring new foody spots in London. Like most, I am on the continual quest to own a puppy, instead I must settle for looking after other peoples in my community.
I am a very proud Welsh gal who grew up in sunny Exeter, now I currently live in South-West London – where there are many puppies.
