Angela Shaw

Sales Support Executive
Liverpool

What attracted you to a career in wealth management?

After joining Quilter Cheviot in 2013 as an Investment Administrator, I built a broad foundation within the Liverpool office, progressing to Office Manager alongside my Investment Administrator role. In September 2025, I moved into the Distribution team as a Sales Support Executive, where I support sales activity and adviser servicing across the business. My journey into the investment management industry has been shaped by diverse experience, including previous roles as a Personal Assistant and Technical Assistant, as well as experience in accounts and procurement, all of which continue to inform my approach in my current role.

How do you approach your role on a daily basis?

On a day‑to‑day basis, I work closely with Regional Development Managers across the North, providing proactive and dependable support that helps them build strong relationships with Independent Financial Advisers and, ultimately, deliver the best outcomes for our clients. I take a collaborative, service‑led approach to my role, focusing on clear communication, organisation, and anticipating needs wherever possible.

Whether coordinating activity, preparing materials, or acting as a central point of contact, I aim to make processes as smooth and efficient as possible. By combining attention to detail with a positive, approachable manner, I support the sales team in maintaining trusted adviser relationships and delivering a high standard of service every day.

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside the office, I have a passion for music, and I sing once a week in a community choir. It's a delightful way to unwind and connect with a different kind of harmony.

The value of your investments and the income from them can fall and you may not recover what you invested.
