Can charities capitalise on corporates’ need to address the S in ESG?

In the UK, corporate giving accounts for less than 10% of the total money raised each year by charities, well below the individual giving. However, corporates have always been seen by trustees as a missed opportunity. This is set against a background where ‘income generation’ is becoming an increasing challenge particularly with pressure on public finances. The question is - can the status quo be changed, and will this address the S in ESG (environmental, social and governance) factors?

Jennifer Piper, Manager of The Quilter Foundation will explore how to develop relationships with the private sector, what the drivers are for a successful relationship and how is the current environment likely to evolve.
