Investment Manager

What attracted you to a career in wealth management?

My journey into investment management began with a degree in International Finance and Economics at Sheffield Hallam University. During my academic years, I developed a keen interest in financial markets and investment. I joined Quilter Cheviot in 2018 as a Trainee Investment Manager, working my way through the industry-standard exam pathway to eventually qualify as an Investment Manager. The dynamic and client-focused nature of this field drew me in and has kept me engaged ever since.

How do you approach your role on a daily basis?

As an Investment Manager at Quilter Cheviot, my primary goal is to thoroughly understand each client's investment objectives. Through regular and transparent communication with clients and their advisors, I then create portfolios tailored to their unique goals and circumstances, ensuring that they align with performance expectations.

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside of work, I'm an avid traveller and often combine this with my passion for photography and where possible, SCUBA diving.  Other hobbies include going to the gym and playing tennis.

The value of your investments and the income from them can fall and you may not recover what you invested.
