Executive Director

What attracted you to a career in wealth management?

My journey into investment management began in 2001 when I joined Laing & Cruickshank as an investment assistant before transitioning to UBS Wealth Management, following the acquisition of Laing & Cruickshank in 2004. In 2006, I joined Quilter Cheviot, where I have been serving as an Investment Director. Over my tenure, I've honed my skills and expertise, making a significant impact on managing portfolios for charities, individuals, trusts and pension funds.

How do you approach your role on a daily basis?

My role as an Investment Director at Quilter Cheviot is centred around personalised service and I work closely with individuals, trusts, charities, and pension funds to understand their unique financial goals and requirements. Regular communication, both written and through in-person meetings, allows me to adapt portfolios to match my clients' expectations. This tailored approach is vital in helping clients achieve their financial objectives.

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside of work I am an independent co-opted member of the Royal College of Art investment committee.

The value of your investments and the income from them can fall and you may not recover what you invested.
