Sarah Bradshaw

Investment Manager
Liverpool

What attracted you to a career in wealth management?

My career in wealth management began as an Investment Administrator with Quilter Cheviot, Liverpool. I spent several years completing the CISI Chartered Wealth Manager qualifications and am now a Chartered Investment Manager. In addition to supporting private clients, I am also one of two charity specialists within the Liverpool office.

I have a BSc Hons degree in Neuroscience, from King’s College London, which given its analytical nature, has built a solid foundation for a career in investment management.

How do you approach your role on a daily basis?

Over my career with Quilter Cheviot, my role has evolved into a client-facing capacity where I work with clients to navigate the intricacies of their investment portfolios. I prioritize personalised service, believing that managing investments is about tailoring portfolios to match each clients' unique needs and changing requirements. Frequent communication, both in writing and through face-to-face meetings, allows me to understand their evolving objectives and adapt their investment portfolio accordingly. I have recently taken on the role of Charity Specialist where I support charities to meet their financial goals and objectives, empowering them to make a difference in the lives of the people and causes that they support.

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside of work I enjoy keeping active by rowing, running and sailing; I also enjoy playing the piano. In addition to this I am Vice President of the Liverpool, Chester and North Wales CISI branch where I am involved in running CPD events, social events, education programmes and work experience.

The value of your investments and the income from them can fall and you may not recover what you invested.
