What attracted you to a career in wealth management?

My career in the financial industry spans over 14 years, beginning at EFG Harris Allday before I took a year out to travel. I joined Quilter Cheviot in 2017 as a secretary supporting an Executive Director and Associate Director, later progressing into my current role as an Investment Administrator.

I thrive on the face to face interaction I have with clients and intermediaries, and I take great pride in delivering a high standard of service. Highly organised and adaptable, I excel in fast paced environments where attention to detail and strong communication are essential. I am motivated by work that is varied, people focused, and requires me to think proactively - qualities that continue to shape my approach and contribution within the team.

How do you work with / look after clients?

Within my role, I support multiple Investment Managers and work closely with direct clients, professional contacts, and Financial Advisers. I am heavily involved in project work, including the coordination and completion of all suitability reviews. This involves obtaining up-to-date information on clients’ financial circumstances and investment objectives to ensure their portfolios remain appropriate and compliant. I have also proactively organised office based fundraising initiatives in support of The Quilter Foundation, enabling employees to request that the funds raised be directed to their chosen charities.

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside of work, I’m kept on my toes by my young son. I have a real passion for travel and have been fortunate enough to visit over 40 countries - experiences that continue to broaden my perspective through new cultures, places, and scenery. I also enjoy live music and staying active through a variety of fitness activities. And as a true foodie, I’m always on the lookout for great cuisine, with Asian dishes firmly at the top of my list.
