What attracted you to a career in wealth management?

My journey into wealth management started with a solid foundation as a Chartered Accountant and Tax Consultant, honed during my training in the Big 4. With over 20 years of experience in this field, I've had the privilege of working with private clients, corporates, and charities. Before joining Quilter Cheviot in 2013, I held senior management positions in several leading private banks. The fusion of my accountancy and tax expertise with investment management has equipped me to help clients achieve robust investment outcomes, making wealth management an enticing and fulfilling career choice.

How do you look after clients?

For over two decades, my role has been client-facing, focusing on nurturing relationships and delivering personalized wealth management solutions. By understanding each client's unique goals and requirements, I craft tailored investment strategies. Regular, open communication plays a pivotal role in my approach, ensuring clients remain well-informed and their objectives are continually met. The satisfaction of making a meaningful impact on their financial success is what drew me to this client-centric role.

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside of my professional commitments, I'm an enthusiast of sports, particularly tennis at Carrickmines C&LTC and golf at Woodbrook Golf Club. Skiing and travel also top my list of passions, offering a welcome break from the demands of the financial world. These activities provide a delightful balance to my work in wealth management, allowing me to recharge and explore the world beyond the office.

The value of your investments and the income from them can fall and you may not recover what you invested.
