Investment Manager

What attracted you to a career in wealth management?
My desire to help individuals and their families, across multiple generations, achieve their long-term financial goals is what attracted me to a career in wealth management. I was drawn to the opportunity to build long, trusted, and enduring relationships, while delivering professional expertise and guidance to help clients reach their investment objectives. I have a particular interest in supporting clients through challenging life events, and I take an empathetic and compassionate approach. I strive to make the complex simple and accessible.
My route to becoming an investment manager has been unique. I joined Quiter Cheviot in 2008 and undertook a variety of corporate project and programme roles which spanned multiple disciplines, including M&A, IPO preparation, business integration, regulation, technology and corporate responsibility. This breadth of experience led me to establish and lead the Strategy and Change team at Quilter Cheviot and join its Executive Committee. I also served as a trustee of The Quiter Cheviot Foundation and as the inaugural Chair of the Quilter Plc Community Investment Committee. These former roles have provided me with strategic, operational, and leadership insight that continue to shape my approach to managing investments and supporting clients today.
Education and Qualifications
My role centres on ensuring that each client's portfolio is suitable for their individual investment objectives. I work collaboratively with clients, their financial advisers, and other professional partners – including lawyers, accountants and deputies – to help them achieve their long-term goals through a coordinated and joined-up approach. I take great pride in delivering a first-class service and maintaining proactive and timely communication.
