John is Chief Executive Officer of Quilter Cheviot, responsible for setting the company's strategy, ensuring we take care of our clients' wealth by helping them navigate life's opportunities and challenges. He has nearly 30 years of financial services experience, predominantly focused on Ultra-High-Net-Worth and High-Net-Worth markets. Prior to joining Quilter Cheviot, John held leadership roles at HSBC across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

John holds a Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors (IOD). He also holds honours degrees in History and Politics from Cardiff University, and in Financial Services from the University of Manchester. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI).
Outside of the office, John is active in the third sector. Having lived across seven different countries, he also enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends.
