What attracted you to a career in wealth management?

Previously I worked in proprietary trading with Geneva Trading. I moved to wealth management as I got satisfaction from working with clients to solve their problems and helping them with longer-term strategies. I enjoy the frequent engagement with clients and taking a more holistic approach to the clients' overall position. Wealth management provided me with an opportunity to combine my passion for financial markets alongside working with clients to deliver high-quality investment solutions, with a view to delivering positive outcomes for clients.

How do you approach your role on a daily basis?

As an Investment Manager with Quilter Cheviot, my priority is to ensure each client receives a bespoke solution tailored to their unique circumstances. I work closely with clients to provide the highest standard of financial planning and investment advice available from the team within the firm. I joined Quilter Cheviot in January 2026 following its acquisition of GillenMarkets, and my role focuses around building strong client relationships and ensuring that each client receives the best possible service. The most rewarding aspect of my work is knowing that we are helping clients progress towards achieving their long‑term financial objectives.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy travel, eating out, golf and most sporting events. My interest in travel has taken me as far as basecamp at Mount Everest and my other interests include GAA, soccer and chess. In my spare time, I like to play golf and I am a regular at sporting events with my children.

The value of your investments and the income from them can fall and you may not recover what you invested.
