What attracted you to a career in wealth management?

I have always been attracted to helping clients achieve their financial goals. My career in the wealth management industry began in the financial advisory world when I joined Fairstone for a year post schooling. It was during this time that I realised my passion for the investment side of the industry. After completing both an undergraduate and master's degree at Cardiff University, I worked in the back office at 7IM and later transitioned to the front office when I joined Quilter Cheviot in 2024. I enjoy the relationships that can be formed in this industry, along with the dynamic and ever-moving nature that investments bring.

How do you approach your role on a daily basis?

In my current role, I work closely in a team supporting two different Investment Managers – which involves assisting with the management of clients' portfolios in many separate aspects. A key deliverable of this is to ensure that requirements of both my Investment Managers are met whilst ensuring I continue to learn and develop with my role.

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy both watching and playing sport. Most notably, I am an avid cricketer while I also enjoy the odd bit of skiing, along with being a big football and rugby fan which I watch with my both my family and friends. These offer an ideal contrast from working life and provide a good balance.

The value of your investments and the income from them can fall and you may not recover what you invested.
