What attracted you to a career in wealth management?

My journey into investment management began with a strong foundation in finance - completing my Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of Birmingham. I joined the financial industry, initially working at EFG Harris Allday, and gradually moved into roles with increasing direct client interaction. My passion for preserving and growing investments led me to Quilter Cheviot, where I started in 2017. My distinctive experience in the US and role as an AVP Private Client Banker at JPMorgan Chase, where I provided personalized advice and solutions to affluent and high-net-worth clients, further elevated my personal and professional progression, and the rewarding impact I can make in wealth management.

How do you work with / look after clients?

In my role as an Investment Manager and Advisor at Quilter Cheviot, I'm dedicated to preserving and growing investments for high-net-worth clients, who place their trust in me, primarily on a discretionary basis. My approach revolves around building lasting client relationships and delivering tailored solutions. I prioritize open communication, striving to understand each client's unique goals and expectations. Over my already-extensive career, I've developed the skills to carefully construct portfolios that align with their needs, whether for private clients, trusts, charities, or corporate entities. My commitment to direct client involvement allows me to provide personalized financial services.

What are your interests outside of work?

Beyond my professional interests, I have a deep passion for travelling and exploring new/different places, landscapes and cultures, which allows me to unwind and gain fresh perspectives. These experiences enrich my life and complement my work in wealth management by broadening my horizons. They help me maintain a well-rounded perspective on life (and finance), offering valuable insights that benefit both my clients and me. My greatest joy (and purpose) anchors around being with family - especially my young daughter - and friends.

The value of your investments and the income from them can fall and you may not recover what you invested.
