Adam Stringer

Trainee Investment Manager
Liverpool

What attracted you to a career in wealth management?

After leaving school I took a gap year to play and coach cricket in New Zealand. Upon my return to the UK, I worked in the legal sector before joining Quilter Cheviot in June 2022 as an Investment Administrator. I have long had an interest in finance and making this transition felt a natural choice. Since then, I have completed the CISI level 3 (IOC) and level 4 (IAD) qualifications and now as a Trainee Investment Manager, I am now working towards my Chartered Wealth Manager qualification. I am committed to developing my skills further and believe that I'm best placed to achieve this at Quilter Cheviot.

How do you approach your role on a daily basis?

My role primarily involves supporting investment managers and clients. I process new business, communicate with providers and financial planners, handle specialised inquiries, and prepare portfolio reports. I try to positively contribute to client experiences through my attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high standards.

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside of work I enjoy padel and attending Anfield, as well as playing cricket during the summer months.

The value of your investments and the income from them can fall and you may not recover what you invested.
