At Quilter Cheviot, we are proud of the long-lasting professional relationships we forge with our clients. In many cases, we have been providing a high-quality service to the same families for generations.
One point of contact
You will have an investment manager who will manage your investments and will always be your main point of contact. You will have their direct contact details so you can request a meeting when you require.
They will review your investments with you at regular intervals to make sure your portfolio is on track to meet your objectives. Your investment manager will also be happy to meet you and discuss anything from changes to your priorities to changing market conditions and the impact it might have on your investments.
You and your adviser, if you have one, can view your portfolio online whenever you wish using our secure website and smartphone app (available for iPhone and iPad).
Our website service provides printable valuations and transaction records, including six months of rolling historical data and two years’ worth of statements.
Keeping you informed
At regular intervals between meetings we will keep you up to date on your investments. Regular reporting includes:
- Portfolio valuations
- Performance reports
- Transaction schedules
- Capital and income statements
- Commentary on market conditions
Tax year-end pack
To make things simple for you or your adviser we will give you a tax-year end pack for investments that need to be recorded in your tax return. This includes:
- A consolidated tax certificate
- Transaction schedule
- Capital gains tax report
- Safekeeping of your investments
Peace of mind
We make sure that all regulatory rules are complied with and maintain strict governance procedures to safeguard our clients’ money. The way we hold your money and investments is strictly regulated and is separated from that of our own business.
We will automatically register your assets in the safekeeping of Quilter Cheviot’s nominee service. This gives you added protection and convenience, cutting down on the paperwork normally associated with market transactions. Your investment manager will be happy to explain how this works.
