Daragh Murphy

Business Development Director
Dublin

What attracted me to a career in wealth management?

Joining Quilter Cheviot in 2010, my journey spans over 23 years in Investment Management and Wealth Management business development.  With a BA, MA from University College Dublin, and an MBA from Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, my role involves promoting and selling Quilter Cheviot's services in Ireland. The dynamic landscape drew me, and as a Qualified Financial Adviser, I focus on demonstrating the benefits of our services to intermediaries, advisers, and charities.

How do you approach your role on a daily basis?

In my role, I've spent over a decade building commercial relationships with intermediaries and advisers. I prioritize demonstrating the advantages of working with Quilter Cheviot and ensuring the highest level of service for our clients. By tailoring investment portfolios to meet specific client needs, I aim for a personalized approach, fostering strong and lasting relationships through frequent communication and in-person meetings.

What are my interests outside of work?

Professionally, my interests lie in the rapidly changing world of wealth management and ensuring the best outcomes for clients. Additionally, maintaining a healthy lifestyle is crucial to me, and I often spend my time cycling, contributing to a well-rounded approach to life outside of work.

The value of your investments and the income from them can fall and you may not recover what you invested.
