Sophie has worked in financial services for over 16 years, following the achievement of her Honours degree in Economics. She started her career as a graduate trainee in 2004, and became a qualified adviser a year later. In 2007, she came runner up with the Financial Times’ ‘Newly Qualified Adviser of the Year’ award. After becoming an established adviser, Sophie was promoted into a Sales Manager role, looking after graduate trainees, financial planners, administration and paraplanning units. Her career then moved in to acquisitions to help grow the national wealth management business she previously worked for. Sophie joined Quilter Private Client Advisers in August 2015 as Acquisitions Manager, assisting in growing the assets under management and establishing the regional offices throughout the country.
