What attracted you to a career in wealth management?
My journey into investment management began in 2005 as an FX/MM Trader at HSBC Global Banking and Markets. Over the past 15 years, I've accumulated valuable experience, transitioning through roles at Lloyds Banking Group, Wesleyan, and Aviva. Armed with industry knowledge, I pursued qualifications, and my career evolved into financial advisory roles, culminating in my current position as a Financial Planner at Quilter Cheviot.
How do you approach your role on a daily basis?
In my current role as a Financial Planner at Quilter Cheviot, I've been managing client relationships for the past 5 months. Client care is at the heart of my approach. I prioritize personalized service, tailoring investment portfolios to align with clients' individual goals. Regular and meaningful communication, including both written and in-person meetings, allows me to adapt strategies to changing objectives. This client-facing role enables me to directly contribute to clients' financial success.
What are your interests outside of work?
Outside of work, I love travel and adventures with my son, and enjoy cooking delicious dishes inspired by our travels. Long walks in the countryside provide a refreshing work-life balance.
