Financial Planner
London office

What attracted you to a career in wealth management?

From a young age I have been interested in Finance, then working in Financial Wellbeing after graduating in Business Management further fuelled this interest. It enabled me to personally help the clients I was working with which I found highly rewarding. This was when I decided that becoming a regulated Financial Planner would be the natural next step. Being a Financial Planner means I can make even more of a positive impact when working with clients, designing specific solutions to match their needs. Aside from my interest in Finance, I really enjoy getting to meet new people and growing strong relationships with them over the long term. It is highly rewarding being able to see clients achieve their financial and lifestyle goals with the benefit of our help.

How do you approach your role on a daily basis?

For me, it’s all about getting the best outcomes for the clients I work with. To do that, I need to understand the client, where they are now, and where they want to be in the future. Working together we can establish what is most important over the short and long term and start putting the building blocks in place to make sure the financial foundations for my clients are strong enough to keep them on track for their goals in an agile manner.

What are your interests outside of work?

With an innate curiosity, I enjoy meeting new people, learning about different cultures, travelling, and regularly learning or trying something new. In my spare time I play tennis and I also enjoy going to the theatre and local exhibitions in London. I’m proud to take part in the Next Generation initiative at Quilter Cheviot which brings financial education into schools allowing people from a young age to start making educated decisions regarding money and thinking positively about their financial future.

The value of your investments and the income from them can fall and you may not recover what you invested.
