The experience I’ve gained over more than 35 years’ investing in global markets, together with the support network and analytical capability within Quilter Cheviot is invaluable. Neil joined Quilter Cheviot in 2013. His background encompasses institutional fund management, stockbroking and financial services with a variety of firms in Edinburgh. He started a career in fund management with Edinburgh Investment Trust in the late 1970’s and has since worked with Standard Life, Life Association of Scotland, Brewin Dolphin, where he was Group Investment Strategist, Edward Jones and Turcan Connell.
Neil graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a Bachelor of Law degree. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and a Chartered Wealth Manager. He holds the CISI PCIAM as well as the CFA IMC (Level 4) and CII Financial Planning Certificate.
