Fund Research Analyst
I am a senior member of the Collectives Research Team and have responsibility for fund selection across all UK Equity sectors. My core responsibilities include providing investment fund recommendations to both Quilter Cheviot and the Old Mutual Multi-Asset team for investment across their client portfolios. I also perform ongoing due diligence on my recommendations. Communicating the progress of my recommendations and changes to strategy within the UK fund sectors also forms an important part of my role.
Matt graduated from the University of Liverpool with a degree in Economics and Computing and has a Masters degree from the University of Leeds. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Matt joined Quilter Cheviot in 2019, and has over 20 years’ industry experience. Prior to joining Quilters, Matt has gained extensive experience in both fund selection and portfolio management having previously worked at Walker Crips, Baker Tilley, Berry Asset Management and Barings.
Outside of work, cricket is Matt’s main passion, although he now spends more time watching his three daughters playing sport than batting. I am also a keen runner and long suffering Liverpool supporter!
