Role at Quilter Cheviot
I head the Birmingham Office and lead a team of highly skilled and experienced Investment Managers; however, my primary role is protecting wealth for Clients and growing their assets. I specialise in the management of bespoke investment portfolios on behalf of Private Clients and I have expertise in; ISAs, Offshore Bonds, Trusts, Charities and Pension Funds. Portfolios are individually tailored to accurately reflect Clients; objectives, time horizons and any ethical considerations they may have. This can often involve working alongside professionals including Independent Financial Advisers, Accountants and Solicitors. Regular contact with Clients is an important part of our personal service. Over the years, I have formed long-term relationships with my Clients, that in many cases has descended down through the generations. These relationships, built on trust, help Clients to realise their investment aspirations and achieve long-term financial peace of mind for them and their family.
I graduated from Leicester gaining a degree in Science and Economics. I hold a Chartered Wealth Manager qualification and I am a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (FCSI).
I began my career in 1984 at Albert E Sharp, being admitted to the Stock Exchange in 1986 before joining Quilter Cheviot (QC) in 1999 as a Director. Progressing to Deputy Head of the Birmingham Office in March 2011 and Head in July 2017. I have been with QC for twenty one years and I have worked with large financial organisations in a career spanning thirty seven years.
Outside of work I am a keen tennis player. I love spending quality time with my family and friends, particularly on the ski slopes during the winter months. My wife and I enjoy visiting the theatre, nice restaurants and museums with our two adult children, who both work and live in London.
