Role at Quilter Cheviot

Carly works in the Fund Research team and is responsible for the selection and ongoing due diligence of Asian and emerging market equity funds. Her main responsibilities include identifying new investment opportunities and monitoring current investments, which includes analysing the risks associated with the portfolio, process and team. Carly works with both the investment managers at Quilter Cheviot and portfolio managers in the Quilter Investors multi-asset team, providing best ideas within Asia and emerging markets.


Carly graduated with BA (Hons) in Sociology from the University of Warwick, before obtaining an MSc in Business from Warwick Business School in 2013. Carly is a CFA Level 3 candidate.


Carly joined the Fund Research team in 2018. Before joining Quilter Cheviot she worked as an Investment Analyst at Mazars Financial Planning for two and a half years. Her role included coverage of UK, Japanese, emerging market and Asian equity funds. She was also a member of the Investment Committee, assisting in asset allocation decisions for the firm’s model portfolios. Prior to this Carly worked as a Financial Services Consultant at Mazars LLP.

Outside of work, Carly enjoys travelling, reading and watching horror films.
