Dementia updates

On our ‘Dementia updates’ page, you can read about our work in helping to raise awareness of dementia. This includes our work on training ‘Dementia Champions’ in each of our regional offices, who act as specialists for staff members with questions related to dementia, and providing wider training and awareness seminars to people we work closely with, such as financial advisers.

As of May 2019, our Dementia Champions had provided training for 1,250 people at 79 separate events.
This made for more than 543,750 hours of training!

You can also read updates on our partnership with The Brain Charity, whom we recently awarded £150,000 to run an innovative music and dance programme to help people living with dementia.
