Responsible business

Our vision is to be our clients’ most trusted partner – passionate about helping them achieve their investment management goals – which means being responsible in all our daily decisions and actions

What is Responsible Business?

Responsible Business is business as usual for us. It is about doing the right thing by all of the stakeholders that we come into contact with, whether that is our colleagues, our clients, prospective clients, the intermediaries that we work with, the suppliers that we do business with, the communities we operate within and being cognisant of the impact we have on the environment.

Our vision is to become our clients’ most trusted partner and at the heart of responsible business is doing the right thing. We believe passionately in this and that is why, as Director of Responsible Investment, I am part of Quilter’s Responsible Business Forum. We are committed to growing our reputation as a trusted business and good corporate citizen.” Gemma Woodward, Director of Responsible Investment.

As part of Quilter plc. we support the Shared Prosperity Plan which focuses on three long-term priorities:

  • Enhance financial capability and engagement
  • Enable more people to have a secure financial future
  • Promoting an inclusive and responsible investment industry

Managing Responsible Business at Quilter Cheviot

Our approach to Responsible Business has developed formally since 2012. This enabled us to develop this within an appropriate framework. As time and our business has moved on, with the appointments of a Client Services Director and a Director of Responsible Investment  we believe that it is right for us do so as well, and fully embed our responsible business approach into our day-to-day work.
