Quilter Cheviot continues to grow its investment management team

Quilter Cheviot continues to grow its investment management team with the appointments of Daniel Jolliffe and Murray Gillan in Jersey and Glasgow respectively.

In the year-to-date, Quilter Cheviot has welcomed 16 investment managers to the business, increasing their investment team to 167.

Daniel joins the firm’s Jersey office from Rathbones; prior to that he worked at Barclays Wealth and Close Brothers Asset Management. Daniel will focus his attention on Quilter Cheviot’s growing international business, working closely with the regional development team in Dubai.

In Glasgow, Murray has joined the team from Brewin Dolphin as Quilter Cheviot looks to grow its presence further in the city.

Andrew McGlone, Chief Executive of Quilter Cheviot said: “Our investment team has grown considerably through 2019 and I am delighted that Daniel and Murray have joined us. We are already seeing the positive contribution that some of our earlier hires are having to the overall growth of the business and I look forward to welcoming others in the New Year.”

Throughout 2019, Quilter Cheviot has attracted new investment managers to ten of the firm’s offices, with the business announcing in July that it plans to open a 14th office in Leeds.
