Paul Ord

Investment Manager

My primary role is to manage portfolios on behalf of a diverse range of clients – be they private individuals, companies, Charities or Trusts.

I work closely with other professionals such as financial advisers, solicitors and accountants to ensure clients receive a coordinated service that meets their individual investment objectives. Being bespoke portfolios they are regularly reviewed to ensure they remain suitable and benefit from active management. By being both the portfolio manager and relationship manager I am well placed to react in a timely manner to both changes in the stockmarket and client circumstance and to explain current strategy.

Paul graduated from The University of Portsmouth with an honours degree in Business Studies and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. Paul also holds the Wealth Management Masters qualification and was awarded the highest distinction in the UK when he sat the Applied Wealth Management paper.

Paul has been with Quilter Cheviot for nine years and has worked in the investment industry since graduating from University. With over 14 years’ of industry experience Paul is well-placed to provide effective investment management solutions to a diverse range of clients.

Outside of work Paul is kept busy looking after a young family. He can often be found taxiing his children between various clubs which has led to him coaching a group of ‘minis’ at the local rugby club where he is also an RFU trained first aider. Paul is a keen traveller with India being a regular holiday destination.
