profile

David Jupp

Head of Birmingham Office

I head the Birmingham office and lead a team of highly skilled and experienced investment managers; however, my primary role is protecting wealth for clients and growing their assets.

I specialise in the management of bespoke investment portfolios on behalf of private clients and I have expertise in; ISAs, Offshore Bonds, Trusts, Charities and Pension Funds.

Portfolios are individually tailored to accurately reflect clients; objectives, time horizons and any ethical considerations they may have. This can often involve working alongside an independent financial adviser, accountant or solicitor.

Regular contact with clients is an important part of our personal service.  Over the years, I have formed long-term relationships with my client’s that in many cases has descended down through the generations.  These relationships, built on trust help clients to realise their investment aspirations and achieve long-term financial peace of mind for them and their family.

David began his career in 1984 and joined Quilter Cheviot in 1999 as a Director, progressing to Deputy Head of the Birmingham office in March 2011 and Head in July 2017.  He has been with us for eighteen years and has worked with large finical organisations in a career spanning thirty two years.  Before Quilter Cheviot, he was a Director at Albert E Sharp.

David graduated from Leicester gaining a degree in Science and Economics.  He holds a Chartered Wealth Manager qualification and he is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (FCSI).

Outside of work David is a keen tennis player, he enjoys spending time with his family and is an active skier during the winter months.
